And of course, I couldn't resist the kürtőskalács (chimney cake), freshly baked over charcoal, its sweet aroma filling the air.

For the best sarmale I had during my trip, I highly recommend visiting La Copac in Brasov. This restaurant offers a warm and inviting atmosphere and serves authentic Romanian dishes with a smile. It's a local favorite for good reason!

Turda Salt Mine: An Underground Wonderland

My final stop was the Turda Salt Mine, a truly unique and surreal experience. Descending into the depths of the earth, I entered a series of vast underground chambers, transformed into an extraordinary recreational space. The recreational opportunities, like bowling, boating, and more are amazing
